Each session features a children's story followed by a hands-on craft inspired by themes such as farmers, gardens, fruits and vegetables, farm animals, bees, healthy eating, and nature. Little Sprouts encourages early literacy, creativity, and curiosity while introducing children to the importance of local agriculture and fresh foods. Families are invited to enjoy story time, create a take-home craft, and then explore the farmers market together. The new mobile bookstore, TITLE WAVE , will be joining on select Wednesdays in the summer. New children's books can be ordered and purchased on-site. Parents, please bring chairs as seating is limited. The program is co-sponsored by Artists in Partnership Inc. and the Long Beach Farmer's Market and is FREE and open to the public.
