Artists in Partnership (AIP) will present a multi-cultural Evening of Remembrance, Reflection, Honor Loved Ones.

The program will feature music, dance, poetry, visual art and time honored rituals for loss, including the Toro Nagashi – giving families and friends an opportunity to honor loved ones, and to find peace and comfort in the company of others.


This memorial ceremony with commemorate those who died from Covid as well as lives lost (including pets).  Lanterns wil be floated on the water, healing and peace flags will be flown, Japanese drummers will play and Oriental altars will represent the spiritual remembrance.  Craft items previously made in Arts in the Plaza under the Long Beach centennial celebration  will highlight loved ones (turtles, shells, hearts, flip-flops).
